Today I got my first picture and it was Chief's! I was so happy because I was feeling a bit down today and decided to finish up the evening by doing my gift giving rounds. I gifted Chief a sweater and he gave me his picture and my mood completely flipped! I was so, so happy and forgot all the bad stuff that happened today.
Has anyone else gotten a picture from your villagers? If so, who was it? Feel free to share!
Congrats! I reset my game and then dedicated 2 weeks to grinding NMTs and trading dreamies, so I've only been properly playing for about a week now. I wish I could give more than one gift per day cause getting my villagers to love me is taking a while Can't wait till I get my first picture!
Oooh congrats!! Mine was from Teddy, my starter jock--I gave him a cycling shirt I thought would look cute on him, he put it on right away, and then he unexpectedly gifted me his photo! Sorry about the bad quality lol, it's a picture of my tv.
I have it on display on top of a zen cushion in my house's bedroom for now!

Congrats!! I wish I kept my starters for their pictures but they're off to better places now haha And I totally agree! I'm sooo happy we can hang them up now. In NL, half of my main room was pictures for those sweet HHA points, but man was it not functional hahaha

Even if you don't gift stuff to them, I think just talking to help helps a lot! I'm a night owl and so is Chief so when everyone on my island is asleep, he's the one I bug all the time haha which is probably one of the reasons why I got his picture hahaha
I got Roscoe's picture! It was a really happy moment for me but also bittersweet because I knew that I was going to let him move on to try out some other villagers. I have his Amiibo so I can bring him back so it's not a big deal but I really miss him. I put it on the nightstand beside my bed for some drama. Lol. I'll probably move him back in eventually.

Aww I have Roscoe too! Congrats on getting his picture! I love him to death but I think when I get his picture and he asks to ping, I'll let him go too. But he'll always have a place on my island if I bump into him

Yep. Same here. I never had him before New Horizons and found him on a NMT and took him in. I'm working on getting Fauna's picture now and then I'll let her go as well. Really any of the villagers I have amiibo for and can bring back at any time I'm just working on getting their picture and then letting them leave.
Can't wait till I get my first picture!
