My First Town Name

As I posted in my introduction post, I am getting Animal Crossing New Leaf (hopefully next Tuesday) and I am trying to decide on a town name. I have some ideas, if you could tell me which one you like best...

It's got to be one of the first two since your town name can only be eight characters. That said, I actually really love Irisfae. You just drop the Glen. That is my vote

8??? I thought it was 12?! Now I have to rethink all of this, lol. But, Irisfae? I really love the word iridescent (showing luminous colors that seem to change when seen from different angles) and faeries... I think I might go with that...

Okay, here are my top three choices at the moment:

Moon Bay
Echo Bay
Irisfae

Haha I really liked Lilac Falls which I voted for.. Until I remembered the character rule D: --- Irisfae is really pretty, but I like I like Moon Bay the most

Of the three you listed that are currently in the running, I'd probably go with Echo Bay. Irisfae is certainly unique, but it just doesn't gel with me personally. Not to say that it's bad, it's just a subjective thing, others will like it better than I do. I favored Echo Bay over Moon Bay since there was that other thread with someone planning to use Moon Bay.

Considering the Character Limit in New Leaf, and my own bias towards all things lunar, Moonbell or Moon Bay (or Moonbay) sound very cute. A lot of these names are very nice, though.

Yeah, I had mentioned Moon Bay first and they loved it so much that they wanted to use it. I feel bad using it because though it was one of my first options, it appears they've already renamed their town Moon Bay.

Actually, (haha) I think I'm going to go with MoonLore. I hate not having a space between the two words, but I really wanted my town to have moon in it...YES!!!! It has been decided!
