My exterior question

So the inside of my house is all castle/kingdom themed and my mansion is already a castle and all my exterior is all gold. But I think it looks too "modern" I'm keeping the castle mansion but what do you think would look good for my theme?

have you tried going to a more brick theme? go with the wooden beam and random stone brick look if you want it to look old (much like the more asian styles or zen styles or stones and wood). Otherwise it might be lacking in other ways, what paths can you put down around it or what projects can you put nearby or flowers arranged to give it a more 'manicured old style' look?
