Hey guys,
i hope u have any ideas cause i'm a little bit irritated by now..
So I had my last campsite villager on April 30th (it was Dom, yay!) and invited him into my town. I know that u usually have campsite villager like every one - two weeks. Since i'm still restructuring my island i moved my campsite on May 7th i think (there was no visitor on that day).
I continued to play every day and i did not get any campsite villager and at first i thought 'maybe it was because i moved the campsite'.
But now it's two weeks later and i still haven't had ANYONE on my campsite so i'm kinda worried now...
I also do not own amiibos nor do i time travel, so i also never invited anyone with an amiibo and i can't check it any further.

Anyone got some ideas or had to wait for a similar amount of time? Am i just unlucky or did the moving bug my campsite? :c
I am thinking about moving my campsite again but then i would have to move it back again.. Or i buy amiibo cards..

I don't think I saw a campsite villager till the end of April after seeing the first one. I believe you are just unlucky. After a week, you should have a 20% chance someone will visit the campsite. This is actually pretty high, but RNG can be mean sometimes

My longest streak is two weeks without anyone visiting my campsite. It's all down to luck really.

Yeah I've noticed campsite tends to be more rarely occupied too. Whenever I have a free plot of land, I mostly end up having a random villager staying there and I miss out on the camper whenever they visit my island :(

I used my brother's switch to do the campsite trick for raymond, and sometimes you'd have to tt like 6 or 7 times (6-7 weeks) to get a new camper. it's pretty rough man, but to be fair 20% isn't that high

the campsite kinda be suckin bruv

I had a streak of bad luck too some weeks ago. I got Whitney in early April, some days after the forced smug villager, and then I went a month without seeing anyone. Since then I think I've had two or three campers more. RNG sucks.

Yeaaah. Love my bad luck streak in Animal Crossing! But thanks for the replies to u all, i'm just gonna stay patient and maybe buy some amiibo cards so i can force my "luck" :D

I feel this, I thought my campsite was bugged at one point and kept tting to see if one would pop up and even after a lot of tting I only got a single campsite villager which was Velma

I think I've had a campsite villager every 4 days or so? But I haven't adopted any of them, so maybe that's related with the frequency somehow?

I don’t think that’s too shocking really. No one was in my campsite for weeks after Rodney first showed up  but then I got June. After that, they just show up more frequently now. I literally just picked up Zell a few days ago, and today Olaf is there.

Finally gotten my 2nd non forced camper (first was Judy) and it’s flipping Penelope.

20% is the max chance each day after 6 days of the original campsite villager you saw. Meaning on the 7th, 8th, 9th... days after Dom came into the campsite, you still only have a 20% chance each day.

You don't need an empty plot to invite a campsite visitor.

You only need an empty plot to invite a mystery island villager, or a villager from another town in boxes.

The longest streak I had without a camper was about 40 days (while TTing) so in your case, it might be just bad RNG. It's neither a glitch or a bug. Hopefully, you will get a camper in a few days.

No, you just got lucky. Percentages of getting a camper are based off the number of days since the last one, capping at 20%.

I haven't had a natural one since forever as well (only had a total of 2 including the first forced move-in).
I'm wondering if the fact that I'm inviting amiibo villagers decreases natural camper spawn rates.

Inviting an amiibo villager resets the probability, so you are back to 0% chance for a few days, up to 20% after 6 or more days.

When I TT to move villagers out, I kinda noticed that I usually get campers around the time someone wants to leave the island~
