My brother sold me his ACNL cartridge

I went to Gamestop to find a used copy (I've always wanted a used one to see the town the last mayor left over?if they never deleted their town that is) and there weren't any. So my brother, who uses my 3DS for games but never plays his ACNL copy, sold me his for, like, 18 dollars. Now I have two copies!!!

My problem is, I have no idea what to do! I thought I wanted a cycle town, but the idea of having two towns also sounds appealing. I have a problem of taking prolonged breaks from my towns so I don't think two towns would be a good idea... but I don't even know where to start with a cycle town. Any advice?

I am also looking into getting a second game cartridge.. I don't know much about cycling towns, but there are some pretty good guides on here. If you were going to be committed to having a second town, I'd say go for it! That's what I want to do, plus since you would know a lot more about the game starting off this time, you could choose your dream town map, reset for good starting villagers/town fruit, etc. Whatever you decide, it will probably be a lot more fun with two towns in the long run

Yeah try both! You can start out as a cycle town and see what it's like and maybe gain so ideas and thoughts on what to do with the town later on. I think there's some really thoughtful and thorough cycling guides and lots of dream towns to visit to find inspiration from c:
