Trading My Blue Roses for Your Hybrids

Looking to trade my blue roses for your hybrids.
Here are the conversion rates:

1 blue rose for any 4 of these (in any combination):
black tulip
orange tulip
pink tulip
black roses
orange roses
pink roses
purple roses
blue violets

1 blue rose for any 3 of these (in any combination):
orange pansies
blue pansies

1 blue rose for any 2 of these (in any combination):
gold roses

1 blue rose for any 1 of these (in any combination):
purple pansies

Please comment with the following:

Doesn't seem like a very fair trade, you get 4 of their hybrids and they get 1 of yours lol..

it's a blue rose...you have to make 2 red+ from orange and purple hybrids, and you have to go a step before that to make the orange and purple hybrids.
It takes 2 breeding groups to make 1 blue rose and even then, getting the blue rose is not guaranteed.

All of the ones under the "4" category require 1 breeding group.

ok, well that I can ammend to 1:1.

But, I've been using this guide http://bidoofcrossing.tumblr.com/post/51137777970/animal-crossing-new-leaf-hybrids and there is no mention of getting a + to make those. What guide are you using?

If you are saying step-wise, it's as hard, I agree. It's just that sometimes you could be mistaking a red+ in your blue rose farm for a regular red, then you get messed up. What with villagers replanting and all. You can theoretically do this on the beach, where it less likely for villagers to plant, but the space is limited. Hence, I consider blue roses a tad harder but Perhaps it should be in the 1:1 category still, thanks for pointing that out!

I also haven't heard of anyone breeding these before, so I will take your word for it :]

sure that works fine! That's what it means by any combination (i.e. 4 purple or 3 purple+1 other or 2 purple+2 others, etc.) ^^
