Yesterday, Gruff moved from my town and had sent me a very sweet letter with his picture. He had been in my town since I started the game so I had been attached to him so letting him go was very emotional. Nearly in tears, I walked around town and passed where he lived and the now empty lot. I can't say I've felt so strongly about someone moving away as I had with him.

As I checked the town I noticed a tent in the campsite. Curious and not expecting much of anything, I entered the tent. When I got in to my surprise I was greeted by none other than my dreamie, Kabuki! Frantically I talked to him and right away asked him to move in. Without any hassle, he said YES. At this point I really was tearing up. What are the odds [mahaha, pun cuz my name :P] of getting one of your dreamies just out of NOWHERE. I have seen them in my tents before but only after doing the reset trick several times over!

Anyway, I feel there wasn't a better way to end a chapter and start a new one. I am so emotional guys oh god I couldn't have happier ;U;

What are some bittersweet memories you all have?

I had Octavian, and he was one of my favourite villagers at the time. So much of a favourite, I literally made sure I spent as much time as possible with him.
I had to leave for a few weeks though, and sure enough when I turned my game on Octavian was in boxes. I cried. I cried so hard and just wanted to sit Animal Crossing down and never play again. Sure enough my best friend wanted him, and I thought it was a great idea so he moved in with her.
Now I go to her town and visit him ever so often. He may not be living in my town, but I still get to see his cute little Octopus face ever now and then. ; -; I miss him but I'm glad he's with someone I know and someone I know who wants to keep him forever.

;O; oh gosh! I'm so sorry he left, but glad he went to a good home where you can visit him still!

That minds me of my old town I had before I reset...
I only had one villager I really really wanted... Kabuki. =3
And the very first camper I had in the town... was Kabuki. =3

What are the odds as you say, right?

((then he put his house right where I was going to build the lighthouse the following day. XP))

Woah, what ARE the odds [mahahaa ;D]

When Zell moved without telling me I started the game to find him in boxes. I was so sad! I actually got a tear to my eyes. Months later I got him back in one of my other towns! Yay.

Also Beau left without telling me and I was so upset and thought I'd never have him again (before I knew you can get them back) well several months later he is happily living in my town again.

I am now VERY careful when I tt a villager out. And even if I did accidentally lose someone I have another town to get them in :)

one of my original and favourite villagers, melba, moved out when i was away for a few days. but attached to her goodbye letter was her picture and it was my very first one! this was months and months ago, but her picture is still sitting on the table in the front room of my house and i'll never forget her ;o;

I accidentally voided my bby, Dotty. Since then Sprinkle moved in - one of my dreamies.

And then Marina ended up in boxes without telling me. So I exchanged her for Chrissy, my little sister's dreamie.

Still, we loved Dotty and Marina... it is bittersweet. The town still doesn't really feel the same.

good for you!!! i cried when daisy moved out of my wild world town ;____; she was in my town for a very long time though after that i didn't really want to play :( but i have her in new leaf so i'm happy now ^___^ you have very good luck

I accidently voided whitney and i was having a horrible HORRIBLE day and you can imagine my heart break of losing an important villager mixed in with that ;_;...

Then a few days later i replaced the void in my heart for whitney with Erik and Tammy and I'm happy to have them both even at the loss of a wonderful villager ;;

Due to a time traveling accident, I lost one of my favorite wolves, Skye, to the void. She was so sweet and she was my absolute favorite villager, and I was sad for about a day or so. The next week though, Sprinkle moved in (strange; she had a similar color scheme to Skye's) and she is just like Skye in my opinion and I've nevere the are or seen her before. She's still in my town today and she's really sweet. :)

Haha. I made one of those fence PWP's where Goldie lived when she moved out, so now I can put all my pretty flowers there and no one can move to where she used to live in! ;u;
