Musuem Model?

It has been a few weeks since I donated everything to the musuem and yet the model never shows up in the shop. Is it rare?

I waited a long time for mine to show up too. Either it's rare or we are both a bit unlucky I don't shop there too often anymore, so I don't really know how often it's available. Congratulations, by the way!!

Argh, after tediously going thru my musuem and matching it to the list, I am short 2 things.

I could have sworn I donated everything as I caught it, but I guess I didn't. I have the badges for catching everything, just didn't donate 2 of them. I am so mad at myself. lol

The exact thing happened to me, I feel you.
What bugs/fish are you missing?

Also to anwser your question on the Musuem Model, it shows up completely random in the Musuem shop.

Oh! I'm so sorry! I had to rematch a few myself along the way. I hope the ones you still need are relatively easy. Hopefully you can find someone in the right time of year who will let you come over to catch them!

The same thing happened to me. I forgot to donate a shark. Not sure how that happened.
My 3rd town finished first and waited 2 weeks for it to show up.
My 1st and 2nd town got it on the first day. I think it should be something that is sent to all the players when you complete the museum. Any visitor can buy it while visiting your town and a street passer can get it too.

complete all 4 wings

each wing getting completed is a wallpaper fitting the theme of the room

jungle: bugs
paintball: art
underwater: fish/deep-sea creatures

Silly thing is once it does turn up in the museum shop it is a orderable item, weird.

Though if you compare to previous games, where iirc the character who donated the most got the model and only that character and it was unorderable....

Yes, though I had forgotten that the exhibit room wall and floor are not reorderable until yesterday, actually. I hadn't made that distinction before.

I know how that feels, the same thing happened with me. I thought I'd donated everything as I caught it but I'd somehow missed donating a walking leaf >.< I managed to catch one soon after though.
