Mushrooms?

Ok, so I kept the different shaped stump and now I have mushrooms. Is there any real value to the mushrooms? Why should I save them?

You can sell them, but some people like to use them to decorate their towns and will buy them from users on the forums.

You can also eat them and your character will react in different ways based on which mushroom they ate. Nothing special, just a cute little touch.

if you have the famous mushroom and eat it, the mario theme song plays and your mayor or character will appear larger for awhile! this mushroom also sells for 16k at retail. it's really just a cute touch for the game, but you can sell them and make some extra profit on here!
