Museum second floor

How do I unlock the 2nd floor of the museum?
It's been ages, and I've donated loads to it, but Blathers still won't mention it...

Have you donated an art piece? You need to have donated to each category as well

Do I need a Painting AND a statue or just one or the other?
Because ive donated a painting already

A painting should have it covered.

Only other conditions are at least 20 items donated, and been in your town for 14 days (possibly talking to Blathers daily).

You had to have talked to Blathers for 2 weeks everyday in a row. It might just be talking to him 14 days, but I think it has to be in a row.

I dont get it then...
I counted, and ive donated 46 things total, an ive talked to him pretty much daily since i started on release date (which ll, i restarted me town and TTed back to release date as if it was my first town)

Ok, here are the conditions:
- Over 20 items donated to the museum
- At least 1 item donated to each of the museum categories
- Talked to Blathers at least once on 14 different days.
