Museum Mistake Misery

After waiting for over 3 months for the museum model to show up in my museum (signifying its completion) I just figured out something. It's not complete! XD

I thought I had completed it because I got my encyclopedia badges, and the golden net and rod. I also thought I had gotten all the museum walls and floors, FORGETTTTTTING that I had actually cataloged a few from friends. So I started thinking...maybe I'm missing a fish or a bug.

After a couple of weeks of tracking, I realized the stupid underwater wall never shows up in my museum. Got me thinking, hmmm....maybe I should check the list of fish I've donated.

Sure enough, missing one. Which one, you say? The stupid, useless, ugly, good-for-nothing, must-have-caught-a-gazillion-of-these-by-now nibble fish. So frustrating.

Now I've been trying for days to catch it, and of course it's not even in season. I feel so dumb, because I checked the museum everyday, and never ever thought I should double check the list to make sure I'd donated everything.

None of this would be a problem if I wasn't a psycho completionist. :'(((((

I think you can get that on an island tour, as long as it doesn't involve fishing or bug-catching. But, I'm not sure. I've been fishing on tours the last day or so looking for that and some others I'm missing.

I'm gonna try the island...it's a May-September fish.
It's just so annoying.

Owww...are you looking for your complete museum goal or just want the museum model? I think it is orderable =D anyway, good luck to you!!

It is orderable, I actually already cataloged it. But I want to know that I completed the museum. And it just bugs me because it's an easy fish, so IDK how I missed donating it.

I agree with you...sometimes is not about the items but the achievement >< I am looking forwards to complete my museum too but I keep miss that stupid stinkbug so I totally understand how you feel. Don't worry what I did is catch everything I suspect is the size (nibble fish is small so catch all small fish) and for sure you will get one!! =D good luck in that you will complete your museum real soon!!

REALLY?! XDD I gonna do that in the CT island then =D my island only have palm tree for beetles hunting hehe what make it worst is...I caught 2 stinkbug with my alt but never see any with my mayor ;_; so cruel....

You can go a tour in your own island, that doesn't have to do with bug hunting, then you can keep bugs, flowers and fruit. As long as it's not the goal of the tour, you can keep whatever you catch and bring it home.
