Museum fail?? Help

(i re-started my town) im trying to unlock the second floor on the museum, so I can get the caf?! I thought you only had to donate at least 20 things (one in each category) to make Blathers mention the second floor..

I've done that but he never brings it up.. what am I doing wrong?

I may be wrong but I think you have to talk to him once a day for 14 days? Idk I think I remember seeing that on a wiki or something.

It is at least 20 and one in each category, you've got 100% citizen satisfaction so you can make PWP's right? (just checking) and I'm also sure you have to have been mayor for 2 weeks, so if you restarted recently that's probably why, other than that just keep checking everyday and he should suggest it soon.

it's been a few weeks since i re-started and im in the museum almost everyday.. hmh D: ill wait for more

If you've had the new town going for more that 14 days, it has to be in what's been donated. You do have to donate a minimum of 20 items, but you must have at least one from each category. I'd check the board outside the museum and see what you have donated and what you may still need !!

Try donate everyday as well.
