I've always loved Muppets, but with the announcement of the new TV show, I've been getting more invested than ever. I'd love to be a Muppeteer or at least meet one at some point.

Anyways, do you guys have favorites? Janice, Lew Zealand, Floyd, Dr. Teeth, and Zoot are my top 5.

I'm so excited for the new muppet show its gonna be great. My favorite muppet is Fozzie. But I also like all the other muppets a lot too.

I grew up watching the Muppets. I loved them.

My favorites are Kermit and Miss Piggy.

cant wait for the new show! it actually looks pretty good for a modernization of an old show which has left me pleasantly surprised

i honestly haven't watched much of the muppets, which i think is a shame considering i'm fond of other henson works (as should be evident from my avatar) and used to be very into sesame street as a child. do you have any recommendations for where to start?

I mean, the new show starts in 4 hours, so that would be a cool place to start. It's an all new story. As long as you know the basic characters, you should be good.

Wow, that was pretty funny! I love Denise, Janice got a line, Big Mean Carl got lines, the scene with Scooter and Elizabeth banks was hilarious, Waldorf and Statler were pretty good, and the thing with Zoot and the "meeting" was hilarious. All I need now is cute Janice and Floyd moments.

A lot of people were complaining about the new style and tone, but I honestly think this is a good idea. Just re-booting the old Muppet show, as much as I love it, seems a bit boring. Taking it in a new direction gives it more opportunity to be original and introduce more ideas. I'm sure things will get better as it goes on.
