Ah, I see!
Well, here's how you do it if ignoring doesn't work for you:
1. Wait until a villager pings you to move. If it's her, great! If it's not, tell them to stay.
2. TT to the next day. Save.
3. TT four days forward- it's never been a risk for me, but if you're afraid of losing your villagers that much then log in as a new save file and see if anyone's moving out- which there won't be, but if you want to make sure. Anyway, after this, long on as your mayor and save.
4. TT a month ahead, log in as a new save file, see who was moving. If it was Lolly, move back to the last date she was there and she'll ping you that day or the next day. If it's someone you're keeping, go back and ask them to stay.
If you're friends, they'll greet you by name. You can also check to see if you can address a letter to a villager. If you can't, then you haven't introduced yourself, and therefore aren't friends.
Often times, I try to befriend that Villager only, and only do their requests. I think the closer/better friends you are to a villager the more likely they will want to move.
