Moving out but no ping ?

All my villagers are saying lucky wants to move and if I want I should go stop him now, but when i go to lucky he doesn't mention anything about a move or ping me to tell me about his move.
I don't wanna lose him, what should i do ?

Save the game then start again he will ping you this time.

Have you saved and quit and got back on? I know I had to do that when one of my villagers said that someone was thinking of moving. Also, you may have to save and quit more then once, because Lucky might not be outside the first time.

That happened with me and Diana, I quit and restarted, and she pinged me thank goodness

Sometimes I don't get the ping until about 24 hours after the villagers tell me the person's moving. Generally you still have a few days even before they ping.

When villagers say a villager is moving, go find that villager but don't go talk to them, let them ping you by walking past them.
