Moving confusion?

Hey guys!

I need some advice on my residents. I was walking around my town and my friend Deirdre approached me. He told me Beau was thinking about moving on, adding that that didn't sound like him. That's what I though, so I talked to Beau numerous times but he didn't mention his big moving plan even once.
What do I do now? It seems he doesn't want to talk about it to me or something? Should I just leave it? I don't want to risk losing Beau, he's one of my favourite characters. But I don't get any information from him at all about it.

Just wait 1 or 2 days and he will ping you.He won't move without telling unless you'll be offline

First, Deirdre is a girl.

Second, Beau has to initiate the conversation for him to mention moving. This is called pinging, and it's when they get the little alarm over their heads and approach you, wanting to talk. Beau won't mention moving any other way.

Third, if you are playing on Bunny Day, there will be no pings. You will have to wait until tomorrow to get him to ping. From the time the game decides someone is going to move, you have five days to stop them. If you talk to them every day and this is the first you've heard about it, you should be able to stop him tomorrow.
