So I moved all my villagers houses together a few days ago but I kinda regret it as they don't walk far from their houses and now they all stick down the bottom of my island so they don't go to all the other things I have built around the island.

I'm tempted to move them all back out around the island (maybe in pairs or in groups of 3) but am lost for ideas on where to put them and even how to start (maybe move them all to the beach area and move one by one as I build paths?)

Anyone have any ideas looking at my map?

Has anyone else put all the villagers houses together and are regretting it.

Here is a picture of my town and where I moved them. There are not many paths at the moment as I'm in the process of removing them all for the hopeful change. My house has moved to the very top left and the top right I have an orchard that I don't really want to move.

First post btw so hope I put this in the right section.

I originally had mine mostly grouped with 3 or 4 separated in different areas...
I eventually hated that pretty quick cuz all of them have a yard, fences, furniture. I wanted to do MORE in those areas around and just... couldn't.

Mine still wonder my entire map pretty much. Maybe it is because my resident area is bigger?
Literally the only places I have not found them is Heart Lake, Campsite, and My Yard.
Julian is the bottom most left and yesterday he was chillin in my top right corner beach rocks outdoor bathhouse setup. Lol

once you put in pathways, you're going to find them anywhere a pathway leads, no matter how private.. they're nosy dudes. i have all my houses tightly grouped on the bottom right of my map, just to get them, and have finally cleared a space to get more of a less haphazard neighbourhood going. it's a costly pain and going to take me 10 days to get them in place, but i figure it's worth it since i don't want to move my hybrid breeding or orchard.
