Most Obnoxious Bug?

Warf roaches and long locusts.

Also the mole crickets, mainly because when I was looking for one, I accidentally dug up at least 4 bushes; 6 flowers (including hybrids) and a rare pattern stump. Why didn't I turn off my game and try, try again? I ask myself that same question.

I say warf roaches because they're so icky and annoying on the island, when I'm bug farming with friends. Long locusts/grasshoppers and all similar, just seem to stalk me everywhere I go.

all bugs are annoying. every single one of them. i hate bugs and i want to burn them all

literally same

mosquits/cicadas/mole crickets are annoying as ****, but scorpions and tarantulas are the most obnoxious. i managed to get the scorpion, but not the tarantula yet. :|

Mosquitos are the worst. They ruin bug hunting and fishing trips, they make you glitch out on benches, they're just the WORST.

Mole Crickets. I have yet to catch one, but they're so annoying with their sounds underground! It's almost like they're saying 'haha you can't catch me'. -_-

To everyone saying Cicadas, I love them. I played so much in the summer last year, so their sound reminds me of summer :)

I love the sound of the Cicadas too o:

I like Tarantulas and Scorpions also

Hardest to catch? I dunno
MOST ANNOYING...CICADAS
I CAN NOT STAND THOSE THINGS.

For me it's the bees. I don't have the reflexes to quickly switch over to my net and my depth perception is terrible. It so bad that even catching butterflies is difficult for me. My bug hunting technique has been described like a three year old trying to kill a wasp with a broomstick. ( My daughter thought I was exaggerating until she watched me. Her mouth hung open in disbelief as I pounded two villagers, a tree, a flower into tiny petals and all the surrounding grass into submission before catching one. ) I have persevered though and have filled my encyclopedia almost full with the exception of those dang bees.

I always end up stung... :(

mole crick****s I s2g ****ing fifty holes in the same area later and it pops put of a place where I had already dug a hole prior wtf

I don't know if mosquitos in NL still sting you randomly like they did in WW.
If so, THEM. They always used to interrupt my fishing.

If not, then probably mole cricket... The noise is so annoying.

Mousehole, you don't need reflexes. Trust me...I have NONE. All you do is hit Y to go into your inventory and then equip your net. All action is stopped at that point so the bees don't come. What I do is hit the shoulder button to run really fast a few paces away, open my inventory, equip my net, then close inventory to restore action, and as soon as the bees come close, but not TOO close, hit A. I usually catch them pretty easily now and the 2,000 or 2,500 they are worth at Re-Tail is GREAT! Also, sometimes I keep one or two and the villagers want to trade for them or buy them.

It's not that bad, really. Once I read that you can stop the action it isn't too hard to catch one. Just try once or twice to get the timing of how close the swarm comes to you and you'll catch on. I promise. :)

Oh...I haven't caught a dung beetle yet, either. I'll have to look up how to. I guess the toughies - the tarantula, the scorpion, and the dung beetle will have to be my mayor's bucket list bugs.

Mole crickets are annoying, and gross. I hate cicadas in the summer, and mosquitoes too. Just WHY? >.< Spiders, and bees are also frustrating, but especially bees since they are so hard to catch a lot of the time. I also don't like fruit beetles, miyama/saw stags and the horned dynastid, purely because they just get in the way whilst bug farming on the island.

The mole cricket. I can catch them. My kids and I have mole cricket hunts where they dig and I catch, or I dig and they catch. But that stupid horned beetle at the island still eludes me. That one is prob my worst hated.

I haven't caught one yet either. I just found them annoying because I'd spend ages finding both snowballs and place them near each other...I start rolling one to size and in the corner of my eye I'd see the damn dung beetle roll my other snowball into a river -_- urgggggg.

I haven't played in the summer yet so I have yet to encounter a scorpion or tarantula :)
