Mortal Kombat 9 has been out for a few days now and I just picked it up! I'm not too surprised that there was no post about this before, it is a bit gruesome.

Anyway, if anyone has picked it up, favourite character/fatality etc?

I'm leaning towards Smoke at the moment, and cannot wait to get some King of the Hill going with some bros.

this game is sweet so far, just started story mode..(played on vs against other players to get used to the controls at the beginning)

Believe it or not, I convinced my parents to get me this game for me (since I'm 15) I'm really enjoying it so far... And overwhelmed by the amount of content available! I hope PSN is up again soon so I can try playing online though T_T

There is alot to do within the game, it's really good to get stuck in.

Well I've just been going on story mode and challenge mode and stuff... So I've been using a bunch of random characters. I did beat the ladder mode with Sub-Zero, so I guess he's been my most used character so far.

I was never really into MK or fighting games growing up. The only MK I've ever played, was for the PS1. I think it was the 4th? But looking at some gameplay videos, it looks interesting. May have to pick it up.
