How. Does everyone get like 9,140,471 billion bells? What do you do? Like I go to the island and get like 500,000 at most! And then I get so burnt out on shark and beetle hunting. Then it goes slower. It makes me hate it. It's like real life, everything is money. This is exactly why I play AC is to get away from everything else. So do you have any tips (besides the island) for bells? Tips on turnips? What's the best way to go about turnips? :confused: My first priority is house building, (for all my junk xD just the space) and then public works projects. Island working barely cuts it. Per day- each. I want bells to be able to spend on here and trade with you guys. I'm so discouraged :( there will be a trade and I'll be like 'uhh I have like 10,000 bells, and like dlc and stuff' and the next comment is 'Oh I'll take it for 3 million' like. GUHHH. Not fair :(

turnips. I 99.99% guarentee you somebody on TBT will have a huge spike price, where you can then sell your turnips. I recommend buying 1 million bells worth of turnips {which earns you about 3-4 million}
However, it does make your town VERY messy {unless you have a mule to hold your turnips :)}

Also villagers.

edit/add: If you have a top-tier villager that's moving out, it might be worth it to head to the Villager Trading Plaza and put them up for adoption. You can give them away for free (and you are an awesome person for doing so) or you could hold an auction, trade, or sell them for a stated price. Go to this thread for price checking.

P.S. Be careful of scammers!

Have the Bell Bloom ordinance active, that way you can sell things at a higher price. Also don't sell stuff at the Nook Shop, always sell at Re-tail as you get 20% more for items as you would if you sold stuff to nook. Go to the island at night 6pm-7am? And catch bugs and fish. Good bit of what you catch on the island are worth alot. If you catch multiples you can earn yourself a pretty penny.

two additional ideas:

1) sell your tbt bells. in the tbt marketplace are a lot of users who offer A LOT of in-game bells in exchange for tbt bells. i've done it once and was able to pay off two home loans with what i've made.
2) open a shop in the tbt re-tail. either sell your unwanted items (dlcs and unreorderables are most sought after) or offer to re-order furniture on demand. people on here pay a lot more than reese would ever do. i paid off another two home loans that way.

good luck on becoming a multi-millionaire :)
