I would personally probably use quotes from Ruby Quest/Nan Quest/The Terrible Secret of Animal Crossing (all AC creepypastas). But it also depends -- since you're doing your own story, that stuff might differ. Like, for my Batman town I've got brewing in my head that should probably never come to fruition because it would mean spending another 40 bucks on AC, I would probably use regular lines the villains use for greetings/catchphrases.

it does for certain characters. What I do is I take certain villagers to represent certain characters and change their catchphrases to match their personalities. In Foxbelle, every villager is a character, but in this town, there's only four, so the rest of them will act like they're crazy because in the story people have gone mad there. OH. MY. GOD. The terrible secret of animal crossing is terrifying. I can't look at mouse villagers the same...

I really suggest Ruby Quest, perhaps snag some lines from there. "Everything hurts" works. "Get out of here". Just some general ones from me.

What's weird about creepypastas is that I can't help myself from reading them in the day, but at night I wanna cry. It's a vicious circle!
