Mopina

I've been trying to get my villagers to keep a mop in their houses so I can get a snapshot of them calling it Mopina. Would any of you know if this is limited to a type of villager? Types being Uchi, normal and such.

Moppina is mentioned by normal villagers. Not sure if the other personality traits talk about Moppina specifically, maybe only in conversations with normal villagers?

Maybe try to give each villager a mop and see which personality (besides Normal) will start to talk about Moppina? Unfortunately, I can't help you here, as my villagers barely had a mop in their houses or talking about Moppina in general.

I'm not sure if they do it in New Leaf?
They talked about Moppina in Wild World I remember, but I found this about normal villagers.

In Wild World, they talk about a friend called Moppina, a non-present mop which reflects on their clean-obsessive nature. They can also have a conversation with a peppy villager about Moppina.

So, it seems Moppina is (still) a thing in New Leaf (at least according to this site).

Yeah. I remember my Norma mentioning Moppina in New Leaf now that I think about it.

i don't think they say it in new leaf? or do they? of all my time playing, i'v never heard the villagers talk about moppina.
