They also only bear their "fruit" (bell bags) once and will turn into a normal tree once you harvest them.

So yeah, definitely not a good source of money but it might be nice just to have in town I have one in my town and I think it's cute. I just would never harvest it!

Plant only one 99K tree. Planting 2 or more will only get one 99K money tree the next day.

Plant 1K with the golden shovel and you'll get a regular tree. You can plant as many as you like. I've used this when I needed a lot of trees in one night.

You have higher chances if you plant a higher value of bells. If you want to test your luck, try planting 50k worth of bells. There's a 50/50 chance that you can either get some income or not. But really as others have said, don't rely on bell trees for farming bells. It's actually not good in the long run and if anything, you lose bells.
