Ive been trying to grow one but Ive had no luck... Any tips?

Do you have the golden shovel?

Gold shovel and 99K should give you a money tree. Just plant one a day. Planted two and got nothing.

You can also plant 1K with the gold shovel to get a regular tree. It comes in handy when you need to do landscaping right away.

Your probability of getting a money tree is 1% for every 1,000 bells you bury. So burying 99,000 bells will give you a 99% chance of getting a money tree. Note that a money tree produces 3 30,000 bell bags, so it's only worth it if you want the money tree as a decoration in your town.

This sounds like a gamble. Somewhat of a mini-game. If a 1,000 bag gets you a 1% chance, and a 99,000 bag gets you a 99% chance, and each one pays out 90,000. I would take my chances, plan two 50,000 bags, and see if they both hit.

if you put 2 it wont work they just get to be normal sapplings
but yes from 1,000 you have 1% and 99,000 %
but no gamble
and yes each bag contain 30k if you shake it

You can only plant one money tree successfully per day. It is a gamble, but it's a pretty bad one if you're trying to make a profit. Planting 99k for a 99% chance at 90k just means you're losing 9k even if it's successful. Planting 2 50k bags on different days is also bad because while you'll make 80k if both are successful, you'll lose 10k if only one is successful, and you'll lose 100k if both fail.
