What are some good ways to get bells? I am struggling to make my first million :3

Beetle farming at the island is probably the best way to get bells legitimately
Planting and selling perfect fruits (ideally in a different town where they are not native and on premium) is another way

the island is your friend go after 7pm and catch a ton of beetles/ sharks and sell them at retail. use your towns perfect fruit to your advantage too. if you can, find other towns where their premium for the day is your towns perfect fruit and sell them all there, you can make a lot of money doing that. also on other boards, you can sell your tbt for millions of bells
