Mixed Feelings

So yesterday I didn't play and today I find Pancetti's house gone and a goodbye letter..

Here's where I'm confused. I'm sad because she was one of my originals and she welcomed me to Sunlight and she and Elvis were kind of a couple and I'll miss her. However I'm happy because I can finally get a new boy villager (hopefully a cute lazy but any boy will do) and the boy/girl to 5 by 5 again....

Have any of you felt mixed feelings when someone leaves? I'm taking this better than when Mott left...

Yeah, I have mixed feelings a lot, there were people I even agreed to let go and still had mixed feelings, but that's how it would be if you had a neighbor move IRL, even if they were grouchy, or you didn't talk much, you'll still miss them. This game always have a pretty good hold on my feels.

honestly, it depends. like mott left because i needed space for dreamies and when he left, i felt so bad. but i had to do what i needed to.

I had mixed feelings when Julian left, yes I loved him and I was debating on having a all horse town at the time but I chose to do a all cat town and I feel like I made the right choice over all.

I had mixed feelings when Flurry left me. Talked to her all the time and gave her whatever she asked for then one day she's in boxes saying she's sorry she didn't tell me >.>

I was super sad and angry at her lol But then after looking for replacements I actually like my town better without her, plus she shows on main street so I think it's kind a bonus (have my 10 dreamies now but still get to club with her haha)

Just from talking to my other villagers on how they haven't found a place to go yet makes me feel guilty and awful >.> Sometimes in the days leading up, too, of how I would get rumors on someone thinking about leaving and that I should go check on them, it reaches a point where I just feel plain awful and would just TT to the move-out date to have it all dealt with once-and-for-all.

When Beardo moved in, all he did was rub me the wrong way. His dialogue was really strange since I didn't know a smug personality existed yet, and his appearance wasn't something I expected myself to like. When he told me he was moving, I said it was alright to.. but then he turned around and changed his mind right there. The mixed feelings of regret and irritation set in, but the more time he spent in my town, the more he grew on me. Now he's a dreamie and my town can't go without him.

I didn't feel great when I let Doc go. It was super hard cause he was my favorite for a while and he welcomed me at the station. I was happy though because I got Pietro afterwards and he's great.

I'm working on getting Rocket to move out. I've never really liked her, but in still not happy about telling her to have a nice life when she does ping. I've always held on to my villagers, even when I don't like them, but I'm coming around to seeing that there are others who will be a better fit.

I was very sad when Shari left my town, she was my first uchi villager to move to my town. I really liked her, but I wanted to see new villagers, so I said Shari goodbye. At that time I didn?t think so much about keeping my villagers for a long time so I let her go.

wait, so pancetti just left w/out saying anything? after one day of not playing? thats very weird!
and yeah, i know the feeling. merry, who was a starter recently left so i can get marina. i really loved her, except she wasnt in a great place and marina was a dreamie

I love Static, but he moved out of my town yesterday because I didn't play. I really liked him, and he was one of the villagers in my original Wild World town. I do miss him quite a bit.


At the same time, I'm happy he moved out because then I have space for two villagers I would love to have, and I got Molly today and now I can get Goldie as well. His house wasn't in the greatest place ether.

Rocket's in my town! She ain't leaving Sunlight! EVER!

I have mixed feelings about Sly. He has just recently asked to move and I said yes because his house is where I want my cafe to be, but I quite like him. I'll miss him, but him moving is for the best.

I quit New Leaf for a year when Snake moved. I guess it worked out for the better, because when I reset just a few days ago, I got a bunch of great residents like Tangy and Lolly.
