Missing the point?

When I get spotpass and streetpass houses I like ones that I can order stuff so my house is a bit of both. Shame you can't order stuff that's been remade wish you could even if its the original of the remade item.

I think it's ridiculous. I mean yeah, I like rare stuff too but this is just showing off to the max. Obviously it's better than putting them all in storage for no one to see, but they could of put the sets out nicely in each room or whatever. I see no point in hoarding it all in your house, it's messy.

I collect some rares items because it is fun, but I don't fill my house with them. I have the entire 7-11 set, but I only keep the atm in my house because it is convienient. The rest of it I have in storage in my museum. I like having them, but I don't see a need to display them in my house.

I don't criticize this person for showing off and collecting all this. Maybe he likes doing this for fun. To me it just doesn't look like fun, but that's only me lol

Haha woah:p I only really collect rares that look pretty. Most of the Saharah stuff is ugly in my opinion:rolleyes:

I don't really get it. Yeah, you have a bunch of rare stuff, but your house looks HORRIBLE! Not that my house looks banana pancakes awesome right now, but I'm in the midst of re-decorating.

I just like to collect the stuff I think looks neat. I wanted the 7-11 and Sloppy sets before I even knew they were rare.

Word! XD

For me I think the game is about connecting with your villagers and making your town and home your own. Trying to beat a game that isn't meant to be beat is just dumb :P

On this episode of Hoarders: Animal Crossing...

I lol'd.

Everyone has their own way of having fun. Some people are absolute completionists and MUST get everything done right away, and other people are more laidback. I personally prefer to have a more realistic house with plenty of space to move around in and a lot of things to interact with.

I'm just so used to having an Animal Crossing house that you can really walk around in. Having nowhere to walk and just to look at all that stuff would bother me.

All that stuff would look so much better if he put it to use and set it up in rooms. But that's just me and if doing that makes him happy, then I'm all for it! I will admit I'm jealous of a lot of his cool items seeing as I have none!

WOW o. o I thought I'd seen some pretty intense rooms rarity wise but that officially takes the cake! LOL I can relate to wanting to collect them, but wanting to put them all out even at the cost of it all looking rather terrible is beyond me o. o If it were a storage house, maybe, but even if I get something rare that I know I don't want to use, I don't go looking for places to put it randomly. I wait for a good reason to use it or trade it away for something that actually will make sense in my house XD I love collecting but never want my house to look boring either XD

Animal Crossing is kind of an OCD game. For me, its about perfection and obsessive collecting. That way I don't have to care about that kind of stuff in real life.

You can play Animal Crossing however you like. For me, its about PERFECTION. MWAHAHAHA.

And cute animals. Hehe. Maybe I should combine my love for collections and cute animals by collecting 10 cute animals of the same species. Maybe penguins? MWAHAHAHA.

All joking aside, it is meant to be played however you like it. That is the spirit of the game. It is meant to be relaxed, and fun- with collectibles as a bonus. So just play as you like.

To be fair I can totally see this happening to my house. xD I just can't get rid of unorderables, and my storage is full all the time. D: Though before I reach this point I will just build a showcase house for them, but I'll make the house look liveable, not like it'd make the worlds best game of floor is lava.
