Missing Meteor Shower

The bulletin board announced a meteor shower for tonight. It is well after midnight in my game and now sign of it. I've had meteor showers before, so I know what to look for and how to wish. I just cannot seem to find it in the skies tonight.

Did you time travel at all? Sometimes in my cycle town I notice that happens but because of TT it's actually an old board post.

I inched ahead a half hour at a time in the same evening looking for the shower but my date is the same as the bulletin board.
