MISERABLE at catching bugs!

I need a bagworm and a centipede. But every day I find seven bees' nests. SEVEN. In Wild World the max was 3, so needless to say I'm kinda pissed. I have yet to find a single bagworm. an anyone help me?

You know, if you open your gates, beehives can't fall out.

Do you time travel? Bagworms are only available October-February, so if you're playing in real time you can't get them yet. For centipedes, just wander around your village hitting rocks with your shovel, you'll get one eventually.

Open your gates then try.
Bee hives don't fall out when your gates are open as Midgetsc said.

But spiders, and bagworms can be caught when gates are open :3

i've had the best luck with 'pedes after nightfall by hitting rocks.
though seven bees' nests, wow haha i thought the max was five

The bees will stop appearing after you've found them all for that day. Bagworms will still appear all day, so make sure you don't just go around shaking every tree once, but do it several times.

IGN says you can just swing your net at a tree to catch one too, is this true? I've been shaking trees all day now with my gate open and nuffin'.

I'm quite sure that you do need to shake the tree and see one of those little bugs drop in order to be able catch one.
