SAME. I looked for her everywhere because I heard so many great things about her, but when I finally got her... She didn't even appeal to me. So I switched to Phoebe, and boy did I fall in love with her

I know she was different in the manga. I even have the entire full set of the reprinted Manga.

As to why she is similar to Venus...she is blonde...her outfit is orange (even though it is called the red zap suit is clearly orange)..and her Japanese name is Mirako, and Venus' name is Minako....I REALLY doubt it is a coincidence.

Then why still call her a ***** if she was never that way in the original manga? It's not really relevant to me that you have the entire reprinted manga lol, so do I along with the originals, but alright.

I didn't ask for how she has little pieces that resemble Venus, I was just saying that in my opinion, upon first glance, I wouldn't think of Sailor Venus.

ah, well… I think she looks like Venus/Minako, personally. She has an orange and yellow color scheme, mask, sailor uniform, she has a star on her head. I think at one point I actually caught her and Frita talking about magical girls, too. That Mira wanted to draw a mark on her forehead so she could have magical powers. haha.

I don't think her UCHI personality suits Venus, though.

Same her...I didn't notice at first.....and am ashamed of it......

Anyway, I like the anime (Japanese version at least) slightly better than the manga. More character development for all the heroines, and quite a few good changes. I think they failed with changing Mars for the anime, but I think their change for Venus was great. I wasn't that big a fan of her in the manga, but LOVED her in the anime!

Same....I think she should have been Peppy, so would Moon and Chibi Moon. Jupiter would be Uchi. Mars would be snooty. Mercury would be Normal.

I totally agree on your personality choices! Venus and Mira would be much better as a Peppy, and all your other choices are spot on, too

Wow....I just got so lucky. Since Uchi villagers can say they are famous for something.....and she is based on Venus....the very first one of the 'famous for something' things she told me is for Volleyball......I remember Minako being good at it in the anime....but just wow! I can't belive how lucky I got with that dialogue!
