Mira vs. Tammy - Is Mira supposed to be Sailor Venus?

I think most of the Uchi characters are pug-ugly. It kind of sucks that we all have probability of getting an Uchi character in our towns. I already have Mira the Rabbit, but I'm kind of waiting for her to move out to get Tammy the Cub.

But then I heard Mira is trying to be Sailor Venus from Sailor Moon which is hilariously adorable. Is this rumor true?





Whether the rumor is true or not, which villager do you find more appealing/generally cuter?

It's very likely that she is meant to parody Sailor Venus, yes. Her name (Mira, or Mirako in Japan) mirrors Sailor Venus' name (Mina, or Minako in Japan). She also happens to have a make-up kit in her room, which references how the Sailor Senshi transform in the Japanese version.

That said, I have Mira in my town and absolutely love her. The only other Uchi I was gonna consider in my town was Phoebe for the Phoenix reference, but Mira is just top Uchi in my book~

Mira is not based off a Sailor Moon character, or any other existing franchise. They can't do that, it's a little thing called copyright infringement. Mira is wearing a zap suit, she is meant to look like a superhero. It's laughable how people think the villager Snake is based off Konami's Snake from Metal Gear Solid... No. Just no. Whoever is in charge of the AC Wiki is an absolute moron. And people shouldn't take everything from the AC Wiki as fact.

Onto your poll, I think Tammy's appearance suits the uchi personality better than Mira. Mira looks like she could be normal or peppy. Her face kinda bothers me, too.

I wouldn't be surprised if Mira(ko) is at least implied to look like Minako from Sailor Moon. They could probably gotten away with saying that she's an inspiration from the Magical Girl genre or something. I didn't hear the rumor from AC wiki though, I got it from a friend who was confused. She thought Mira looked like Usagi Tsukino because she's a blonde, blue-eyed rabbit.

Mira's adorable but I don't have space in my dreamieland for her, she'd be runner up though.. I do like her more than Tammy but it's also probably biased thanks to the inspiration off of Sailor Venus.
