Uh....YES YOU WILL MESS UP. I usually TT 2 OR 3 days forward ONCE and then 1 day at a time after that.

Example: You're at 8, Stitches is moving in and still unpacking. I TT 4 days forward and usually Isabelle tells me someone is moving. BUT - if she doesn't, I TT ONE day at a time until she tells me something.

& if you DON'T want to move someone, after you TT 4 days - TALK TO 2 VILLAGERS until they dont' want to talk to you anymore. They will tell you a rumor about someone moving.

I TT like 7 days so someone hurries up and moves in, I still don't know how many days it takes for someone to move in.

Yes I use my bf's ds. (It's more like MY ds, since he never plays it) But I have 1 digital copy of AC and the cartridge.
