I'm thinking of buying these games on tbt but I want to know which one you like best, why, and I'd also appreciate if you guys would tell me if these games are worth playing in 2015. I have other games I haven't played and don't know if I should devote the time.

Golden Sun games for GBA are def. worth playing. Haven't played the others though

Be warned that if you play Golden Sun, you'll only have half a game. The second half is Golden Sun: The Lost Age. That doesn't mean that it's cut in content or anything, just that it's a huge story and you'll need another game to actually get the full experience.

From the three I'd still recommend it the most, though Metroid Fusion is very good as well.

Metroid fusion is fun, but if you want to start the metroid series, I would personally go with Zero mission. It's a fun remake of the first game on the GBA, and was the game to introduce Zero Suit Samus.

Metroid Fusion, definitely.

If you like the classic 2D Metroid games you'll like this.
If you never played a 2D Metroid then it's arguably the best one to start with since it's more linear making it easier to get into for a lot of people, though it's not so linear that older fans will despise it. It's 'just right'.

It's the first Metroid game I played as a kid. I actually got this myself yesterday from Club Nintendo EU and it still holds up.

Golden Sun is a great game as well. Really solid.
The only problem with it is that you kind of NEED both games, meaning you'll end up paying at least twice as much for it in the long run (assuming you enjoyed the first one). The story cuts off half way through the first game and continues with the second. It's pretty much the equivalent of only owning the first half of a movie.

It's still a very good game though. I do find that some people are put off a little that they'll HAVE to own both games when they may be just looking for a one off cheap experience.

Advance Wars I have no opinion of. I've never played it.

Agreeing with what Tao said about Metroid, I'd recommend it compared to GS or AW.
