Meteor Shower question

Question! (Hopefully someone has the answer )
If you missed a meteor shower, can you TT back and still make a wish?
I'm *supposed* to have a meteor shower right now but I've been playing for hours now and not a single shooting star...
I'm wondering if I can just TT forward a few days and then TT backwards and see if I have better luck. Or is that a no go?

What time is it in your town? It starts after 7 p.m. And it usually happens every 3-5 minutes, at least in my experience xD
You shouldn't be holding any tools/accessories in your hand. Press 'up' to look at the sky and press A when you hear or see the shooting star. Hope this helps xD

Add: last time I had meteor shower I invited some friends over. And I wanted to take screenshots cuz sky was so pretty. Everyone was literally just standing there, looking at the sky for like 5 minutes... Dead silence for few mins. It was pretty fun tho lol. Second time I went to my friends town and got Throne from Wishy next morning c:

Yeaaah. I saw there was a meteor shower tonight on my bulletin board so I TT'd to 7pm, and waited and waited but no luck.
Literally left my game half an hour just not doing anything but still nothing! I TT'd to 8pm and waited more but still nothing :|
Now it's like 10pm

That's so weird.. Do you have your sound turned up? I'm pretty sure shooting star makes chiming(?) or some sound when they fall.

Or go check the date of the message that was posted? Maybe it's a day old or something.. I'm not sure @_@

Yup, I'm purposely leaving my game on while I look for answers online to heard for the chime but still none at all! Why is this happening to meeee?? :'(

Maybe the meteor shower is erased because you time travelled backwards?

It's supposed to happen on random days so I'm not sure if you can TT foward to different day and back.. Might now work.

If you only TTed a few hours ahead or back while you were on the same day, it should be still on the same day (with meteor shower).. So weird @_@

I didn't TT back! only forward a few hours
