Merengue... what on earth?

Merengue was poorly so I went to visit her while she was inside sick. At the time I had a bee sting from shaking trees (this was on Bunny Day, I'm presuming.)
I did have one pack of medicine from Cherry ready and that's why I was visiting Merengue, but when I talked to her

She gave me medicine

and after she gave it to me

I gave it to her

And she thanked me

I had Peanut do that when she lived in my town. Cherry gave me medicine for a bee sting which I decided to give to Peanut because I could buy my own in the shop after, or simply wait it out. But silly Peanut already had medicine, which she gave to me. I returned it to her and used Cherry's on my face. x3

Ironically Cherry was the one who handed me the medicine I was delivering. Maybe Cherry's medicine is as dodgy as her forgeries and Merengue/Peanut waa trying to save us...

The shops were all closed, so I did on PURPOSE to get myself stung by the bees. I got a medicine from one of my villager and went to give it to him. He was like "Oh your pretty face is destroyed, lemme give you medicine". And then he begged me for some
