Why you want her: Originally I planned to stay away from the top popularity villagers just to spare myself the trouble of trying-and-failing to win her or afford her. I like Merengue's design a lot (who doesn't?). Light pink is my favorite color (big surprise) and her desserts design is the icing on the cake (pun intended). Still, I figured it wasn't worth the hassle. But when I found out Merengue was my birthday buddy, I knew I probably couldn't stay away for long. And well, heres a little chance! I am pretty psyched that she is my birthday buddy regardless of whether she lives in my town or not. Because she is basically me in rhino form (even though I wouldn't really pick a rhino to represent myself?? lol). Anyways. YEAH~

Do you agree not to sell her later on?: Definitely agree. Either way, I like to hoard popular things when I get ahold of them... heh. but, for reasons stated above, I would like to have her. And if I accidentally lose her, I can agree to hold a raffle, such as this.
