So, I had a trade set up via reddit, Julian for Merengue; Julian is my dream villager and I've tried resetting, doing the campsite reset thing, etc., with no luck... now the reddit user hasn't contacted me in 24 hours after I had time traveled to get Merengue to move. I'd really like Julian for her, and while I won't be taking any other villagers, if I can't get in contact with the user who was going to trade me Julian/get a new offer of Julian before Merengue ends up in boxes, then I'll take the highest bell offer.
I believe she's going to be moving in 5 days, although I time traveled a few hours back this morning and I don't know if that counts as a day or not. I can TT to boxes if Julian is offered.
I would advise not to do any more time traveling, the previous hours back may have possibly affected her moving departure and by risking time traveling forward could result in her being voided. It would be best to wait it out until shes in boxes as this point and more likely in that time frame you may find someone who's willing to trade for Julian.((This has happened to me a few times with multiple villagers who were accidentally voided)) Good luck in finding Julian. ^^
Yeah, I had a feeling the few hours might have counted as a full day as it does for time traveling any amount of days backwards. I figured if I had to TT to boxes, I'd just go day by day so I don't lose her. Thank you for the tip and the luck!
Time traveling a few hours does not count as a day. It only counts as a day if you pass 6am in either direction. I've had villagers stay in boxes for days, because I kept moving back a couple hours at a time to wait for other players to make room/etc.
I honestly don't remember if I went back to before 6am or not - I think I put it at 10am, but I didn't take much note of it so I wouldn't want to test my memory and chance voiding her.
As for the bell offers, if I don't get in touch with my Julian offer or find a new offer of Julian within the next 3 days then I'll make contact with the best bell offer. So thank you guys for offering, you're literally my safety net.
I any case you can still go forward one day if she isn't already in boxes and talk to her and she will tell you how many days it is before she moves out and you can tell her to stay or leave.
I'm sorry if I still had julien I would give him to you. When I first sftarted playing I sent him to the void. Before I knew I could give him to people.. :/ and he hasn't moved back since.

I checked reddit again and the user still hasn't contacted me - I was a little uncertain at the time because they had also offered Julian on someone's Tangy, but the last two posts the user made were on my reddit thread. Now they haven't posted anywhere in over a day and I'm starting to feel like they never intended to trade me Julian. I had Marshal in the campsite twice when I was looking for Julian, but I kept resetting because I only had one open space and I didn't want to lose my chance - now I wish I had taken Marshal so I at least had a back up chance of getting Julian ;-;.
Maybe when Merengue moves out, the animal crossing god(s) will take pity on me and let Julian move in.
Maybe! When he moved in my town he wasmt in campsite just moved in when I was cycling XDi made so many mistakes when I first stsrted playing before I knew we could trade villagers ugh.. lol if I happen to get him sometime soon I'll give him to you ifyou don't have him
That would be amazing! I know someone who had told me that when Julian moved from their town, I could have him for 20 million bells, but I'm not the best at saving. Currently have 1.5million, but if you do happen to get him at some point I'll likely have saved up a bit more and will definitely compensate you!! I seriously appreciate it!

I didn't really start out with any villagers that clicked with me - I didn't even know about Julian for quite a while (bought the game on thanksgiving and didn't really start playing until late December), but unicorns have been my favorite animal since I was really little and I intend to have Julian, Peaches, Annalise, Colton, Winnie, Papi, Savannah, Clyde, Ed, and Victoria in my town when everything's said and done. Out of all of those, so far I only have Victoria. I might start cycling after this mess with Merengue is sorted - I was actually hoping to hang onto her unless I found Julian for her, because she is pretty cute, but that got all messed up. I'm not a fan of anyone else in my town, aside from Victoria.

Hm no my last villagers I want are pekoe, rosie, whittney, francine, and marshal I had them but gave them to friends :3 so I'm just searching or hoping they will move in.
