MERENGUE Camping in my Town

So.. I get on New Leaf, I have 9 villagers in my town right now. I see an empty plot with the sign that "Clyde" is going to move in tomorrow and there's also a Camping tent thingy. So I go in to check who's visiting my town, and of course, it's Merengue.

I don't want to lose her but Clyde is already filling up my 10th slot -- so I don't think I can make Merengue move to my town.

So I was wondering if Camp villagers are able to be given away? Just like villagers who are in boxes.

They're not, unfortunately.

People can't adopt villagers in other town's campsites unfortunately. :c </3
