I don't use it, it doesn't seem to have a great sucess rate and taking up 1/16th of your storage for something that saves you 10 seconds if you're searching for someone doesn't seem a good trade to me.
Beau is pronounced like a bow tie. It's french for beautiful I believe.
I carry it around a lot. It can be finicky, but it's helpful. I now use it to guage friendship levels, but I usually use it just to see who is outside. It can really help with Joan and Katie.
Ah, that might just be cause the game is programmed to think all names are phonetic?
I used to have to call Mathilda as Math instead of Mat-ilda to get her to respond.
I should buy one and see what it makes of Fuchsias cluster of consonants.
it works most of the time, but there are certain villagers that just never respond. saying "hazel" always gets a shout from pecan and it drives me crazy!
The idea is great, but it's hard getting the right person to respond sometimes. For instance, in what universe does "Rosie" sound like "Ankha"? Wasn't even a fluke, happened at least three times today. I can understand the confusion with the more similar names like Mira and Merengue, but come on, those don't even have a single letter in common.
It's good to know you can summon Joan with it though, never tried that. Do you pronounce her name like "Jone" or "Jo-ann"?
Also, about the "Beau" thing, I'd also say it like "bow".
