Maze help...

Hey guys So basically I'm *trying* to grow a maze using hedges, and so far so good. However, to insure that future villagers don't decide to plop their houses right in the center of my hard work, I'm probably going to need to build a PWP in the middle of the maze. I looked up online though that hedges can't grow next to them, is this true?(even small ones like street lamps?)

Additionally, if I were able to work around that and distance the PWP from the hedges, what would be an ideal center piece for a maze? The hotspring? Windmill? Thanks in advance!!!!

Edit: Decided to just surround PWP in paths, so need help deciding on that...

They have to be... two spaces, I believe, away from the PWP Sounds like a fun project, though! You should post pics!

As in like, one space between them? Oh, and yeah, once i'm finished I'll definitely post some pics

Yes you need 1 space between the PWP and the bushes.

Just remember you can't put too many bushes next to each other. I'm pretty sure it's 11 or 12.

Yep, my maze is luckily divided enough where there isn't rows of more than 12.

I suggest putting a couple of custom design signs throughout the maze and try to hint a way to the end of the maze.

i tried this bt when i put so many bushes together i had gaps it was like 10 in a row so i ended up with a rose garden

You can use pitfalls as an effective deterant for people trying to cheat through your bushes. xP I usually have some in my gaps.

The geyser could be good. ~ cause everyone love watching that. xP
Or a faceboard with Winner and and arrow pointing up to them.
Or you could let a really popular villager move into the maze so people have to go through it to see them. :3

That's a good idea....I was thinking of making several entrances to stop the row of 13. The geyser would be awesome!

The 12 bush rule is annoying, I can't think of any way an infinite chain would cause more trouble than what can be done with 12. It just requires a whole lot more planning now.

Yeah...that darn "13th bush" rule is realllllllyyyyy annoying. I think I found a way to work past it though with pitfalls and the like.
