My hubby is playing ACNL and his birthday is on Toy Day. He's never seen what the villagers do for the mayor's birthday but he's experienced villager's birthdays so he figures the game will do "something" for the Mayor as well. (I haven't told him what happens as I don't want to spoil it for him.) He also knows Toy Day is on the same day as his birthday and he was wondering if Toy Day is going to effect his birthday in any way. I honestly have no idea what happens when a mayor's birthday falls on a holiday so I told him I'd ask the wonderfully helpful members of TBT to try to find out for him. What does the game do when this happens? Thanks for your help!

Doesn't the Toy Day event start after a specific time, like Halloween? If that is the case, the timing conflict could be avoided.
I haven't experienced Toy Day before. Birthdays, on the other hand... In order for an event to happen with a villager on a mayor's birthday, depends on the friendship level of the villagers, so I would keep that in mind, first, before questioning the conflicting matter of two events on one day. I'm not aware of your husband's relationship with his villagers, but I thought it would be a good idea to bring this detail to the table, into this discussion. Thank you!

Oh, yes, Reginald! I had totally forgotten that Toy Day starts at a specific time. Thank you so much for reminding me! When I went into my game last year on Toy Day it had already started so I didn't have to focus on the time. This is great! I can tell him to play in the morning & the birthday party should happen and then he can do Toy Day at the proper time! Thank you so much!

I think you're right but I figure it never hurt to ask. I've been wrong about things in ACNL before. Yes, I'm so glad Reginald mentioned the time aspect. I'll just make sure he plays before Toy Day officially starts so that he can have his birthday celebration. Thank you for your help!

Players celebrated their birthday when a holiday or event is happening in town.
I've celebrated my birthday on Bunny Days. Celebrated the birthday and than completed Bunny Days.

I don’t think it should affect it.
My birthday is on March 17 (shamrock day)
So it’s the same birthday as my mayor...and the two events don’t clash.
I still get a birthday but there’s also the event at the plaza.

That's a fun day for a birthday! I've told my husband to make sure to hop in game before Toy Day officially starts so he should be able to do both with nor problem. He's very excited! Thank you for your help!
