I got the idea for this thread from this one, where someone had mentioned they wanted to know what the horror towns were like, but were too easily scared to want to visit them. I, however, am I horror junkie, so I am taking it upon myself to visit the Dream Addresses of these towns to give you a brief recap myself.

Unfortunately, my computer is no longer reading my SD card, so I won't be able to upload any pictures for you guys, but I'll try my best to describe what I experienced with words alone. It's not ideal, but my husband and I are trying to buy a new house so a new laptop is not exactly top priority right now. :(

Anyway, moving on. Here is a list of the towns I will be visiting:

Achrome: 5D00-00D0-3E9F
AHS: 5D00-003E-4CF3
Aika: 6B00-0026-B459
Aokihara: 4E00-0032-EBA1
Bohmte: 6A00-0064-5225
Bonne T: 4F00-000F-9C1E
Cuteland: 5C00-0029-541E
Faleisha: 5B00-0026-1300
Fogwood: 6E00-0015-B4EC
Hitokui: 1C00-0077-A492
Hula Key: 4D00-0013-948C
Kvatch: 4E00-001D-21F1
Oasis: 5B00-002B-8BBE
Onigiri: 2F00-00B7-78A4
Rapture: 4C00-0021-E9FC
Rose?rot: 4E00-001C-CC4A

If you have any other suggestions, let me know, and I'll add them to the list of towns to visit. I won't be doing them in any particular order, so if you've got one you really want me to see, let me know and I'll prioritize that one.

I'll be posting all of my explorations in this thread and then linking to them in this post for easy access. I'm looking forward to having some spooky dreams to share with you all!

This will be fun! I haven't visited Cuteland since before the WA update, but it was my favorite horror town (other than AHS, since I'm partial to that one, haha!). :p

AHS

Starting my nightmare series out with one of my favorite towns I've visited in the past, AHS. It draws inspiration from the first four seasons of American Horror Story. Granted, I've only seen the first three seasons (clowns really freak me out so I stopped when season 4 came out), it was still really cool! Lots of flora, a really cool layout, and presents galore! So turn the lights off, snuggle up in a blanket, and prepare to explore the town of AHS.

Town Plaza
Starting out in the town plaza, here were already presents for me to have! On either side were two plaques, one that said "Papa Legba" (the loa from the Haitian voodoo tradition that appeared in season 3) and the other that said "1919 Student Witch". This will come into play with the first house we'll visit later.

The presents by the Papa Legba plaque were a top hat, a spider umbrella, all black clothing, and a skeleton shirt. Basically, you get to cosplay as Papa Legba himself! I believe this was set out for masculine identifying dreamers. I, however, went with the "1919 Student Witch" outfit, which consisted of the witch dress and hat from Gracie Grace. Once I was all dressed up, I followed the path set out by the qr paths and bushes and ended up at our first house.

.........................................

Miss Robichaux's Academy For Exceptional Young Women
The theme of this house was season 3 of American Horror Story: Coven! This is my favorite season of the show (not just because I am a Louisiana native!) and also my favorite house in the town!

The outside of the house had a face standee that said "Miss Robichaux's Academy" and featured the main villain-tagonist of the season, Fiona Goode. Naturally, the owner of this house was called Fiona and she was dressed very snazzily in oval shades and all black. There were presents strewn about which included a pair of oval shades for you, a sparkling cider (which I felt fabulous carrying all around the town), and an axe! The house itself was had the modern theme with a regal exterior reminiscent of the old plantations along the Mississippi River. Loved it!

Room 1--Main Floor
The main floor of this house was the sitting room/main room of Miss Robichaux's Academy of Witchcraft. There were fancy frames all over featuring pictures of past witch supremes, heavily featuring Fiona Goode herself. There were columns inside the house, recalling the antebellum style of the plantation home, and some jazzy music playing in the background. I couldn't get to the source to check out the title, but this jazzy theme played throughout the house. There was also a black umbrella here, bringing to mind a jazz funeral. It was very light and airy and pleasant. Good callbacks to the show! Loved it!

Room 2-- To the Left
This was one of my favorite rooms in all of the houses in this town! It was Marie Laveau's Hair Salon! KK Groove was playing in the background and a mannequin representing Marie herself was standing behind the counter near a bunch of wigs. In one corner there were hair styling stations and there was a zodiac snake statue representing the secret in the room. When you went past the exotic screens sectioning off a corner of the room, you entered Marie's Voodoo lair! There was a throne, some bones, and an African mask. Simple, but conveyed the message very well. This room was warm and earthy, a great contrast to the first room, and executed the idea of what it was supposed to be very well!

Room 3-- To the Back
Did not exist.

Room 4-- To the Right
This room represented the cottage Fiona shares with her lover, the resurrected Axeman of New Orleans later in the season. For those unfamiliar with the show or the actual legend, back in the 1920s, this anonymous Axeman terrorized New Orleans, going around to the houses at night and murdering any family that wasn't playing jazz music. Pretty dark, huh? Anyway, this room was simple with the ever-present jazzy tune playing while an axe and a saxophone lay on the floor. It was very simple and homey, but instantly recognizable. Not nearly as spooky as you would expect a murderer's lair to be, but come on, he's sharing it with his girlfriend!

Room 5-- Top Floor
This room, while not inherently scary out of context of the show, gave me the creeps! This is the attic apartment of Spalding, the mute butler. This dude is a greasy-haired old dude with talon-like fingernails and a love of dolls. The room was smaller than the other rooms in the house and COVERED with dolls and dollhouses. Almost every space that wasn't taken up by the mannequin representing Spalding was covered with dolls. IT WAS SO CREEPY I HATED IT. (But I loved it.)

Room 6-- Basement
This is the "greenhouse" and potion brewing room of Fiona's daughter, Cordelia Foxx. The room was very dark and lush with greenery. the room also had a Taurus bathtub hidden in the back, which I loved, because I think it was a subtle reference to the minotaur that appears later in the season. Spoo-ky. The mannequin in this room was not representing Cordelia, however. It was representing Myrtle Snow, another witch in the show and rival to Fiona Goode. Loved the crazy wig and the cat-eyed glasses here. Made the character instantly recognizable.

House Exterior Revisited
Back outside the house, I explored a little more. There was a bonfire surrounded by dead trees, reminiscent of the witch burnings from back in the day. There was also a wetsuit that let you jump over the cliff to get to the beach nearby where you find a buried skeleton and a torch with tiles that said "Balenciaga". Clearly this town is hacked, but I didn't care, because of awesome little touches like this! Which now brings us to our next house.

.........................................

Briar Cliff Manor
This is based on Season 2, AHS: Asylum. Briar Cliff was surrounded by dead trees and weeds on a cliff. It was on its own section of land, separated from the other houses and PWPs in town. Very isolating. There was also a forest of trees next to it and a shovel. Buried throughout the very claustrophobic forest were skeletons everywhere. Already pretty spooky! The standee in front of the house was of a nun, as the Asylum itself was run by the church. Excellent Exterior. The inhabitant of this house was Lana aka, Miss Lana Banana. I was really impressed with her green dress.

Room 1--Main Floor
It's Christmas in the asylum! This is the common room for the patients at Briar Cliff. KK Parade was playing to lift up spirits and the room was very nice... Or as nice as an underfunded asylum with mismatched furniture could be. There was a piano in the corner and some games to keep the residents occupied. Very clinical and clean. I really felt like this was a working lobby.

Room 2-- To the Left
This room was a lot more Spartan than the first room. It was either a bathroom or hydrotherapy room. There were bathtubs and showers and sinks everywhere, and the room was very leaky. It was silent except for the fans circulating the moist air in the room and there was a rather foreboding looking crucifix framed on the wall. The walls and floor were dingy and looked like they could be growing mold. This room made me feel very uncomfortable and I wanted to get back to the gaiety of the first room ASAP.

Room 3-- To the Back
This was a surgery auditorium or some kind of examination room. There was seating for an audience and the main focus was on the bed where patients would have treatments done to them. There was a mannequin representing a doctor and a medical skeleton on display. In the back, hidden behind some medical curtains, was what looked like a brain in a jar. I could definitely imagine being forced onto that examination table and it creeped me out! Did not want to be in this room! Did not want my brain in a jar!!!!

Room 4-- To the Right
This was an office/punishment room. The austere crucifix was back again, this time paired with a headless angel statue, and there was a table and desk for an administrator to sit at. There was an odd device in the center of the room that looked like it could be used for torture. I could see them sending "uncontrollable" patients here for reform. I high-tailed it out of this room as fast as I could before some scary nun came to strap me down and hurt me.

Room 5-- Top Floor
This was the administrative office of the Monsignor who runs the Asylum. It was very clean and welcoming, a far cry from most of the other rooms here. There was a mannequin representing the Monsignor himself and KK Aria was playing in the background. Everything was nice, neat, and classical. It was smaller than the other rooms in the house, but an office doesn't need to be as big as a torture chamber, now does it?

Room 6-- Basement
I didn't quite get this room at first, but when I did.... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! This is an apartment. Half of it was nice and neat with 1960s style wood and furniture with wine and fruit out for guests. But something about the lamps and pillows seem kind of off. Then you notice the mannequin wearing a the big red lion dance mask and some weird stuff in the workshop area and HOLY CRUD THIS IS BLOODY FACE THE SERIAL KILLER'S LAIR AND HE'S SKINNING PEOPLE TO MAKE FURNITURE OUT OF!!!! NNNNOOOOOOPPPPPEEEEEE.

.........................................

Murder House
I didn't stay much longer at Briar Cliff once I figured out what that last room was. I did not want to become a lampshade, okay?! The next house had a "For Sale" sign in front of it, which could only mean it was house from Season 1, AHS: Murder House. The standee in front of the house advertised for the Eternal Darkness Tour and the inhabitant of this house was Miss Violet.

Room 1--Main Floor
KK Ballad was playing as I entered the main floor. There were cardboard boxes out mixed with furniture. Clearly the family hadn't finished moving in. This room had the creepy wallpaper and flooring, but the furniture that was out was from the classic set. There were a few violets in pots here and there, which I enjoyed because Violet lived there! Since the family hadn't finished unpacking, there wasn't much else in here, so I moved on to the next area.

Room 2-- To the Left
This was the home office/library. Two Days Ago was playing as the saucy maid mannequin was doing some dusting. There were also some moving boxes in here, but this room was more unpacked than the previous one. It was kind of dark in here, just as it was in the first room. Oddly, a place called "The Murder House" isn't very bright and welcoming.

Room 3-- To the Back
This was a small bathroom. It was pretty cut and dry with not much weirdness in it. A bathtub, a sink, a toilet, and... A pig? I couldn't remember anything about the season as to why there would be a pig in there. It was cute, though. I do believe this is the bathroom where Violet... Well, I won't spoil it. Watch the show to find out!

Room 4-- To the Right
This was the very large and spacious kitchen. There was a gimp in there! A gimp! Leather suit and mask and everything! Get out of there, gimp, I'm trying to make spaghetti! This was a really nice room apart from him and there was also a dog in there. Fat lot of good he did protecting us from a home intruder, though.

Room 5-- Top Floor
This was Violet's room. I could tell by the fact that it looked like my room when I was a teenager: cute, but messy. There were potted violets here and furniture with clothes sticking out of the drawers. The clothes had a skeleton pattern on it, which I liked. Steep Hill was playing and there was an open laptop on the desk as well as a pet fish. Violet is a pretty lucky teen to have a cool room like this.

Room 6-- Basement
I did not like this room. It was dark, dank, and dirty. There were weird people in there and KK Dirge was playing softly. There was also a skeleton in there. This is the room where all the people who were murdered were buried. There wasn't much else to it, but it was very effective in creeping me out and getting me to run right out of there to the last house.

.........................................

Fraulein Elsa's Cabinet of Curiosities
This was from the fourth season, AHS: Freakshow. There were alternating rows of red and white roses on the front lawn and the walkway had two balloon arches! It was very well landscaped and I said hello to my buddy Pepper, the "Pinhead" who lived there. Keep in mind, this is the house I'll know the least about because I did not watch this season. I have a thing with clowns. :(

Room 1--Main Floor
This room had tent walls and dirt floor and was very colorful. KK Milonga was playing and there was popcorn and games and spotlights and lanterns everywhere. Very much a circus and very lively. There was a crystal ball in the corner for psychic readings and microphones for the ringleader of the circus to announce the different shows to the crowd! This room was very exciting and really executed the theme of circus.

Room 2-- To the Left
This appeared to be a cake room? There were dolls and thrones and balloons and sweets everywhere. I don't know what it was for, but it seemed pleasant enough. Unless the dolls were secretly creepy like the doll room in the first house :( :( :(

Room 3-- To the Back
This room did not exist.

Room 4-- To the Right
This appeared to be a wedding. Two mannequins in a bridal gown and a fancy suit were standing in front of a big wedding cake. Only Me was playing and both of the mannequins had the same hair as Pepper, which made me think they were both supposed to be "Pinheads". This room would have been perfectly fine except for the weird skeleton hidden in the back. It made me think this room was a lot more sinister than it appeared.

Room 5-- Top Floor
This appeared to be someone's bedroom. KK Sonata was playing and there was a little area set up for glamour shots. There was a mannequin there dressed as a fancy lady and a bird in a cage singing contentedly. There was also an old TV there and a vanity. Perhaps it was the ringmaster's bedroom. Don't know who else it could have belonged to.

Room 6-- Basement
This room was meant to represent the outside, perhaps the midway itself. There were lots of games there and some picnic tables and a jack in the box. There was also that creepy clown with the mask on and a skeleton. I didn't stay in this room very long when I realized who was there. I. DON'T. LIKE. CLOWNS.

Final Verdict
This was an extraordinarily well done town. The horror was more subtle rather than in your face, and you definitely need to be familiar with the show American Horror Story in order to fully appreciate it. The creator of this town put so much work into it and I think it's definitely worth a visit. I've personally visited this one about 3-4 times just to play around. I love it!

Wow!!! Thank you so much for your visit and thorough, enjoyable walkthrough of my AHS town! :D I really love hearing how people interpret things, and how certain details make them feel.
Originally, I had the Axeman's jazz bar where Marie Laveau's salon is now, but then I moved the Axeman references to Fiona's bedroom. I'm really glad I did, since the salon seems to be a favorite from most feedback I've gotten. :)
(The jazz bar is in the museum now.)

LOL at "I'm trying to make spaghetti!" Hahaha.

I'm looking forward to seeing your other horror town recaps!

I'm glad you enjoyed my review. I'm also glad you replaced Axeman's jazz bar, as the salon was my favorite. However, I'd love to see how it originally looked, sometime!

i visited AHS. not sure why its considered horror. i know its themed after american horror story but the topwn isnt anything anything horror. i love the houses though.

Well, there is a room where a dude in a lion mask is making furniture out of people's skins. That's pretty scary to me, lol.

But it's really more of a subtle horror, and you'd probably only get really creeped out if you saw the show and know what everything is supposed to represent. Otherwise, I can see just going and being like "This is really pretty, but I'm not scared."

Then I don't know. I suppose different things are scarier to different people. I know a lot of people really love gorey horror and bloody horror towns, but that doesn't do anything for me. It's just gross. Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks and whatnot.

*waves*
I created it. It's a normal suburb with subtle odd things happening inside the homes. It's not meant to be a bloody, jump-scare Aika clone. (Aika's reaaallly not my thing, TBH.) It's not even meant to be scary, necessarily; just creepy, like the show.

I've written some fanfic in my time. I'm not a professional writer or anything. I'm just a librarian. And I was so detailed because my SD card reader won't work anymore and I didn't want anyone to miss out!

Fogwood
Chose one from the middle of the list for today's nightmare. We'll be visiting Fogwood, the sleepy little town ravaged by... Something. This is a hacked town with an apocalyptic story that leans heavily on religious imagery. If either of those things bothers you, this is not the town for you. However, this is right up my alley, so let's go ahead and explore Fogwood!

Town Plaza
Immediately, you can tell this town is hacked. There is no town tree. Instead, there's a big, fancy fountain and weeds growing between the cracks of the stones in the plaza. There's something seriously wrong with the town of Fogwood, as shown by all he signs warning of DANGER and telling you to RUN. There are dead trees and bones scattered around and please of "save me" written in blood. The path throughout the town is cracked and littered with holes... You have to be very careful where you walk because nothing's been kept up. You don't want to fall into anything... No one will be there to hear you scream! There's even bloodstains along the stones and on the grass. Something has happened to this town and I feel like an idiot for willingly coming here.

That being said, there are presents! I love presents! There is an outfit for girls (black velvet dress and a veil) and an outfit for boys (grey hoodie, dark pants, and a surgical mask). I pick a mix of the two (Dress and mask) and I'm on my way to the first house.

.........................................

The Church
This building is inhabited by the priest Raoul... Or what's left of him. He's walking around outside in his priestly vestments, but he's got a halo and angel wings. Clearly he didn't survive the destruction of the town, but it is nice of him to stick around and welcome me to his church. He's pretty sprightly for a dead fella.

Room 1--Main Floor
KK Chorale greets you as you walk into the main room of the church. It's pretty somber in here. All of the lights are turned off and there's unlit candles everywhere. I take the opportunity to light them and see that the wall is covered in bloody crucifixes.... Oooookay. There's also creepy art and bloody hand prints on the wall. These hand prints seem like they're going to be a theme for this town. They're arranged in a strange pattern and it seems like they might have something to do with what happened here. The centerpiece of the room appears to be... A funeral maybe? There's a case with a candle and white lilies in front of it. White lilies traditionally represent death, which has got me nervous. There is also what appears to be a holy book and religious statues lining the corner of the room. Subtle religious horror at its finest.

Room 2-- To the Left
KK Dirge is playing. It's never a good thing when KK Dirge is playing. This room appears to be Raoul's living area. There's a bed in one corner, some bookshelves, and an office area in another. One side of the room has a kitchenette with some very suspicious vials of liquid on display. There is also a skeleton in here. Is this Raoul? Poor guy. He looks better as a ghost. It's not very neat in here... The walls are crumbling and the floor is dirty. It obviously hasn't been used in a very long time.

Room 3-- To the Back
This appears to be the old sanctuary. There are seats for Raoul's old congregation, a nice looking organ, and a baptismal fountain. There are old candles here for me to light the room, which I'm grateful for. Obviously the electric bill hasn't been paid in quite some time. Everything would be really nice in this room if not for the fact that the walls are PLASTERED with this bloody hand print motif. I think maybe ol' Raoul was into more than just your standard religious practices.

Room 4-- To the Right
This room is a nice change from the rest. While there are still only candles to light it up, the room is entirely white. It feels a lot less claustrophobic in here. Unfortunately, it's still just as creepy as the rest. Maybe even more so. There are gossip stones here surrounding the centerpiece of the room: a headless demon with bat wings. No bloody hand prints indicating anything suspicious, but I feel like having a demon statue in a church is mostly no bueno.

Room 5-- Top Floor
This appears to be an above ground catacomb, or maybe even some sort of ossuary. The walls and floor are lined with stone and candles., but there are bones and coffins everywhere. The demon statue also has a place of honor here and it almost seems like the bones are here to worship the thing. Or maybe they were placed here on purpose to give the statue power. Either way, I'm getting the creeps from it.

Room 6-- Basement
Here is the churchyard. There are tombstones here with old, wilted flowers from when people used to visit their dead. Clearly this yard has not been well-kept since Raoul died, as it's quite messy in here. And.... It looks like someone may have had a premature burial here. But he's gone the way of the rest of them. Poor guy.

.........................................

Hospital
There were signs pointing this out as the town hospital, and it seemed like it was still in working order, so I decided to visit here after the abandoned church. The inhabitant of this house was a nurse named Ophelia. However, I didn't feel very welcomed by her.... She was wearing devil horns after all. I feel like sometimes nurses get a bad name without people also thinking they're demons.

Room 1--Main Floor
This is the hospital lobby. KK Tango is playing as a nurse at a station checks in... A skeleton???? I think you're a little too far gone there, buddy. But I suppose the hospital staff knows better than I do. The room is also very dingy and dark with a big glowing organ in a tank in the middle of the room. I suppose the staff is very proud of whatever that is.

Room 2-- To the Left
I have finally found it: the one cafeteria I would not eat at. This place is gross. It's dirty and the walls are bloody. Even the chef behind the counter is taking precautions against his food, considering he's wearing a gas mask. The skeletons eating the food don't seem to mind however. Gross. Also the menu says this place is serving Blood and Death. No thanks.

Room 3-- To the Back
This appears to be the exam room. There is a desk with some really freaky looking X-rays for the doctor to examine. There are also some scales and medicine cabinets. Behind a partition is a little examination table. This is the only room that I don't mind being in, as it actually looks relatively clean (there's a wash basin here at least!). However, KK Dirge is playing in here too, so I doubt this room is as innocent as it looks.

Room 4-- To the Right
This appears to be the surgery suite... Or a torture chamber. There are a number of regular beds here, but also some really freaky looking electric chairs and electrical chambers. There are IV bags here to keep the patients alive, but for what purpose???? Unfortunately, I could not read the really messy plans laid out on the table here, but the fact that there was also a wicked looking cauldron made me think whoever uses this room is up to no good.

Room 5-- Top Floor
This seems to be the patient ward. There are some nice looking hospital beds partitioned off with curtains. I think maybe they keep children here, as there are quite a lot of dolls on or near some of the beds. But it's really messed up that this is a children's ward considering there appear to be some humans in a state of... disassembly around the entrance. Also the nurse is wearing a hockey mask. I'm going to get so many diseases here, aren't I?

Room 6-- Basement
This is the morgue. You know every hospital has one! However, they keep skeletons and coffins here around a FURNACE. I'm thinking these guys don't quite make it to the church yard any more. Perhaps they just dispose of them here. It's probably just as well, considering no one's keeping up the graves.

.........................................

The... Bank?
Or maybe a rich person's holing up here while the rest of the world has gone to heck. Mirage lives here with what appear to be her maids. There's quite a bit of loot here.

Room 1--Main Floor
This was a fancy place once upon a time. This was a nice plaza with columns and statues, but now they're all broken and worn down. The room has been filled with creepy statues and coffins, but there are still maids here keeping up the places as best they can. One was dressed normally except for a weird jester mask and the other's uniform was splattered with blood and she covered her face with a gas mask. Maybe the air does something to your face to make it look like the other maid's. Who knows. There was also a flag here that read "Don't Disturb the Dead" which didn't make me feel great about being here, to be honest.

Room 2-- To the Left
This appears to be a vault. Behind bars AND glass is a HUGE pile of treasure, stacks of money, and gems everywhere. It was guarded by knights as well. Clearly someone is worried about being looted. I made it clear to the guards that I was just looking and high-tailed it out as quickly as possible.

Room 3-- To the Back
This was an office that had a mini-vault in it. There appeared to be a safe behind locked bars and a suitcase full of money. The rest of this office was pretty neat and professional looking. Someone is still using it.

Room 4-- To the Right
Oooooh, I really liked this room. This was the library and the whole room was literally lined with bookshelves. There was comfortable looking furniture for reading and exotic knickknacks to decorate. There was something that bothered me, though. Hidden among the treasures here was a floating space rock with a "Danger" sign behind it. I really could use more than just this medical mask to keep me safe from the radiation.

Room 5-- Top Floor
This was a penthouse apartment for Mirage. The furniture was very rich and there was even a throne here. Absolutely nothing spooky here... Except for a bloody message scrawled on the wall telling me to "RUN!"

Room 6-- Basement
This was a mossy garden... Perhaps at one time it was a sun room or a green house. Now, it just seems to house weird skeletons and sarcophagi. Perhaps these are the remnants of the old household servants that worked here... The ones that didn't have gas masks to protect them.

.........................................

Just a House
I couldn't determine a central theme to this house. There seemed to be a bit of everything. The person who lived here was a sweet looking girl named Max.

Room 1--Main Floor
This room appeared similarly to the main room in the bank house, but it was a lot cleaner. The columns and statues were kept in good conditions and there were fancy fountains in working order. There was a doll in here, which kind of threw me off, and the ever-present skeletons (I've just gotten used to them now), but aside from that, this room was actually kind of nice.

Room 2-- To the Left
Oh this room was very cute. Mountain Song was playing and the room was pink and cute. There were lots of Sanrio and Princess furniture everywhere... But what's that facing the bed, staring right in you face as you sleep? Oh nothing, just THE MOON FROM MAJORA'S MASK.

Room 3-- To the Back
This was a cute little cafe with a nice reading nook. There was popcorn and a welcoming fireplace while KK Ballad played in the background. There were a few dolls there, but they weren't so bad. Just don't look too closely at the furniture to see the blood stains on the tablecloths and you'll be just fine.

Room 4-- To the Right
Here is another really cute room. Mermaid furniture and items from the Sanrio set. It was a very soothing room to be in. No creepy moon staring at you, a nice little sewing/crafting area, some cute dolls... And is that someone staring at me through a window? Who is this person? Where did they come from? Why are they trying to desperately to get in? And why do they keep asking if I miss them?????? Suddenly this room isn't so cute anymore.

Room 5-- Top Floor
Apparently the Max that lives here dabbles in witchcraft. She's got some tools for for divination here, as well as some magical items strewn about the room. She has a fairy in a jar on the mantle of her fireplace, and the fairy desperately wants to get out. There were some writing utensils and mirrors for scrying. Not inherently creepy in itself, but in the context of the rest of the house, I doubt Max is a good witch.

Room 6-- Basement
This is where Max does all of her potions work. There were shelves and shelves of potion ingredients and something suspicious bubbling in the cauldron while the dulcet tones of King KK played on the radio.

Final Verdict
The animal villagers of Fogwood kept telling me that this was the greatest place to live, but I'm not sure I believe them. They've been brainwashed, either by the human inhabitants, or whatever it was that messed with the town. I'm thinking Raoul summoned something in his church and it completely destroyed the town's ecosystem, making it completely uninhabitable to normal folks. There were too many gas masks and seemingly alive skeletons to make me think that this was a great place to raise a family. All in all, very creepy and a well-done town. I like that you don't find out exactly what wreaked the havoc in the town and you can draw your own conclusions.
