Resident Night Mare
So, yesterday was Shamrock Day. I wore my green lace-up dress, white stockings, and white patent shoes. With the Shamrock Hat from Isabelle, I was quite festive. With the green hair, I think I looked like an overgrown Leprechaun.
I ended up changing my mailbox, getting rid of the cabana one and getting the wooden one. That was after seeing Born2BWild's house with the siding. It goes so perfectly! Of course, now I have to buy Flint a new mailbox, because I don't want him having the same as Emerald, but I'm sure I can find something to work. I also got the arched zen door and brick pavement for Jett; it goes nicely with the earth exterior.
I'm trying to get the loan paid off on the left-side room so I can build the right-side room. It looks lopsided right now. Yes, I have issues.
Everyone seemed out and about, whether it was because of the holiday (it took me until 3PM to realize that I couldn't work for Brewster) or the nice weather. And everyone was rather chatty.
Lolly needed a piece of fruit. I gave her a pear from my only tree (and planted the other two). She was most appreciative.

Yes, Lolly. You must stop saying that. Right now.
Keaton wanted to know what color flower I thought best suited him. I chose yellow, but didn't slide it all the way to the bottom, which confused him a bit.

Nope, you're definitely one of a kind, Keaton.
Then of course, we have Purrl the Gossip.

As if Stitches would be allergic to 1) something sweet and 2) food. She really should try to be more believable. Tell me he's allergic to digging holes or shaking trees. I could believe that of my little lazy cub.
Speaking of Stitches, he wanted a spider (why? I don't want to know). I shook every tree I had, but couldn't find one. I hate letting my villagers down.
Beyond that, I didn't have much else going on. Neither the Ables nor the Nookling Bandits had much in stock that I wanted. I bought a pair of socks from Kicks just to check an item off my catalog. I'm hoping today brings a better selection. Guess I should probably just spend a ton with the Bandits so I can expand the store. Meh.
I had Sapphire store another path, so I now have three to choose from. Also, my secret spot in the NE part of town is coming together nicely. I think I've got all the trees planted. I've started putting white cosmos between the trees, and set a couple of mushrooms around one. Just need Shari to ping for the log bench. Maybe if I send her letters with bananas in them....
