So, there's going to be a Nintendo Direct tomorrow that will be focusing on Splatoon.
What are you guys hoping they talk about?

tbh I wish it was 10AM PDT and not 10AM EDT since I get to go in late to school for like the next month woo. But I'll wake up at 7 for Nintendo.

Spoiler: Direct stuff people might not care about

-Regarding the leak, I want the other amiibo costumes to be real. I want to show off my Marth and Dedede amiibo in some way. Also, make Zelda's dress an item. It still isn't in MK8 for some reason, but I'd be fine with it here. (who cares if it's crossdressing if you look good?)
-What if they had an Inkling Smash reveal at the end. And was announced to be release alongside Lucas. I wouldn't know what to do.
-Is there a way to taunt? Can I make the Inklings twerk?

I am not buying splatoon primarily for what is going to cost. It is mostly online, I am the only one in my house who plays Wii U.if the price went half I might considea it.

I've kept myself pretty much 'in the dark' with Splatoon so anything I may hope for might already have been announced.

I want them to add support for older Amiibo. Not just a small selection like with Mario Kart 8 or a 'general' thing where they all do the same thing, proper support for all of 'em. I wanna run around in a Sheik outfit and a Yoshi hat God damn it!

The game has already had a price drop. I think ?10-15 on release would be a bit low.
Depends how you feel about multiplayer focused games though. I've seen many comments from people (elsewhere, not here) who think single player only games should cost less.

I don't really understand that...90's style advertisement seems more like they're going for the nostalgia tactic, and you won't get 90's nostalgia outta 10 year olds.

I don't understand why they've done the demo the way they have. So I get three 1 hour chances to play the demo all on the same day (9th)? The way the times are split up means I'll probably only get the chance to play once and I would have to plan around that time as well...
I expected like one single player level or the tutorial to be available to try out at least just to have a play around with.


I think I'll just wait for the actual launch.
