Max number of inclines and bridges

I'd like to know the number of how many inclines and bridges are allowed on your island since I heard a rumor that it's 8 max per. That feels like shockingly little (at least for inclines for my island plan). Could anyone confirm please?

Yeah it's 8 for both.

I don't want to sound like that person but in comparison, it's a huge increase from past games where there'd only be like 2–4 inclines (GC/CF/NL) and 3 bridges in each town. It's unfortunate if you do want loads of inclines/bridges though, 8 is surprisingly 1 short of how many I wanted in my town lol

Thanks for confirming! It's just a little sad since I've wanted a big museum entrance with 2 bridges on each entrance. Which alone would take up half of the max number.

If AC was developed by Sony first party studio, it would be unlimited. Pretty much any company outside of Nintendo. Not sure why there even restriction on a powerful console like the Switch?

I don't understand anything Nintendo does, that why there a meme with the name "Nintendont".
