Selling Marshal wants to move out!

It's against the rules to keep a thread up until you get the "highest offer". You need to have an ending time/date if you're doing an auction. It would also be helpful if you had a buyout and minimum increment values as well.

Oh, sorry, I didn't know. ;n; I'll edit the post right now!

I don't think he's doing an auction. There was no mention of an auction or anything like an auction. I think he's just selling Marshal to to whomever offers the most amount of bells. Which sounds like an auction at first, but isn't if you think about it. An auction like you said requires most of the time an ending time, a start out bid and a buyout. He has none of those. Also, an auction means you're bound to give the item/villager to whomever wins, which could mean an amount lower than what you wanted. If you're just selling it and keeping the amount open, then that means you get to give/keep the item depending if you're satisfied with the bell amount or not.

You don't have to do an auction if you don't want to. You could just keep your post as it is, as a [Selling] post.
Keep in mind if you do decide to change and do an auction, that by the new auction rules you HAVE to give Marshal to whoever wins your auction in the end, be it the amount you wanted or not. If you don't fall through with it, they have the right to leave you a negative feedback. If I were you, I'd keep it the way it is and sell it instead of auctioning it. Auctions can be a bit of a gamble sometimes, and don't always turn out the way you want.

If you want to just sell him outright, then you could put up a certain amount your looking for like a range? That way you don't have to wait for someone. :)

Okay, thank you~! I just thought I'd get in trouble, I'll keep it as it was before.

His original post mentioned the "highest offer" so I assumed it was an auction. If you're selling something, there's a set price already. If you're auctioning something off, there are offers/bids, and the highest offer/bid wins... That's what I got from the post, anyway.
