I also use this guide, however, I'd recommend ONLY tting one day at a time, if you travel multiple days at a time as the guide suggests he might go into boxes too quickly. If you tt one day at a time, you will learn as early as possible when he is moving- 5 days before he does. Then, when you go back to the present, he will be in boxes four days after the day you tt'd back to. (say you tt to the 1st and he says he's leaving the 6th, then when you tt back to the 27th he will be leaving the 31st)
For example, the guide says to always tt 4 days into the future after the 9th villager moves in. No one will actually leave physically during this time, but I've had villagers ping me and want to leave the day the 9th villager is unpacking. If I had tt'd 4 days into the future after the 9th villager was unpacking, a villager would be in boxes that day or the next, giving little time for an auction.
I would also say to use 2 anchor villagers, as sometimes talking to your single chosen villager until they won't talk to you any more isn't enough to let you know someone's moving.
In short, this guide is very good for quickly voiding villagers, however, to preserve someone long enough for a decent auction, some extra precautions are needed.
Sorry that was long/convoluted, if you don't understand something and need explanation let me know!

Oh, and, above all, if someone is in boxes and you want to sell them, DO NOT TIME TRAVEL FURTHER. If you tt back for any amount of time they will be GONE. If you TT into the future past 6am the day they are in boxes they will also be GONE. Please keep this in mind, especially the fact that time traveling backwards will void the villager if he/she is in boxes!

thanks for telling me how to make him want to leave. ill cross that bridge when i come to it

i don't know what that means but if it is when he is leaving, he doesn't want to leave yet but i'm trying to make him leave
A buyout is when you can just buy him and not to worry about bidding. So, let's say you put the buyout at 35 mil. Someone then says buyout, and the auction will be done, and you will get 35 mil then say bye to marshal.

Sorry if that seems confusing >.<

thank you for that explanation. the buyout is at 50 mil.

Have a bump ^.^

Also, you may want to update the description and add this:

"Starting bid: 5 mil

Minimum increase:? (put however much someone has to bid again for it to count like 500k or a mil or so)

Buyout: 50 mil"

Just a heads up to make it a bit easier for people :3

also, would you be willing to take some tbt bells or only in game bells :P

i will only take in game bells because i don't use TBT bells.

is it bad that i'm getting more attached to marshal?

Aha, you can always change your mind whenever. He is quite loved in the TBT community.

5.1m, if you don't decide to keep him ^^
