Marshal or Static

I been thinking about getting Static or Marshal in my newest town, Moonview.
But I can't decide, since I like them both the same way.

I actually really like Static! I think Marshal is adorable, but super over-hyped? I feel like Static has a bit more personality in his appearance and that his house is nicer. Something I definitely consider when recruiting villagers

I like Marshal~ He seems to blend in with everything nicely, though man Static is a good villager too, them both in a town would make a great combination xD

I'll give another vote to Static. I currently have him in Wild World and he's so fun. :3

I've had Static before, but I've only met Marshall in dream towns. I think both are wonderful, but I have to give Marshall the edge because his facial expressions are great! He might be overhyped, but I think he's a pretty adorable marshmallow squirrel.

I have both of 'em in my town and it would be impossible for me to choose between them.I'd say get the one that goes best with the theme of your town or get the one that will suggest the kind of PWPs you want.

Marshal, he's not my favorite smug or squirrel. But he's cuter than Static IMO.

I'd pick Marshal, I've had him in a town (I moved him out today actually, so he left). I also feel like he's a bit over-hyped, but he's cute!

I have and love both right now. I vote Marshal because his house is more fun to hang out in.

That's a hard question. Marshal is really cute (I like his grumpy face), but I haven't had him in my town before. I've had static, and I loved him I liked the interior of his house, but I hated the door on his house.

I like Static better. I think he's got a very interesting design unlike Marshal, whom I find super bland.

Static is lovely! I visited a da which had a variety of squirrels, including these two, and static was so cute....it really surprised me actually as I'm generally not a fan of the squirrels.
Marshal is also very sweet and cute but so many people seem to have him already, he's on pretty much every dream list so maybe static would be a little more unique? Although I know he is fairly popular too.

Anyway, my vote is for static!!

As popular as Marshal is, I would go with Static for two reasons. One, to stand out. And two, because he's one of the cutest cranky villagers.

I've only ever seen Marshal in-game and he's pretty cute, but the pics I've seen of Static are also cute. I'd give Static a chance because it seems that everyone has/has had/will have Marshal at some point. LOL

LoL at peeps recommending Static "to be different"... that's as bad as recommending Marshal because "he's popular"! XD

I have Marshal in Bevelle and I originally didn't plan on having him... but someone was giving him away on here and I had a space... it's not that he is "overhyped" it is that the character is actually really well rounded and the smug personality really matches his look imo.

I also have Static in Azura at the moment and he seems pretty cool too... I might end up bringing him into one of my main towns.

I would say take a look at the houses and see which one suits better, if you can't decide on the villager themselves.. both are really cool, so whatever choice you make you are on to a winner
