Marshal or Beau?

So I'm sort of debating between Marshal or Beau.

I have a friend of mine holding Beau in her town, I had him back in my old town, but I neglected to build any sort of friendship with him and the moved him out for another villager. He was in my cycle town for a while and then I asked my friend to hold him so I could have him back when I finally get settled into my new town. But she doesn't mind holding him, since he's cycle fodder for her cycle for Bob, and I don't decide to keep him, she can move him to her other town, or sell him or whatever she pleases to do.

My thing with Marshal is, he's pretty cute and I wouldn't mind having him in my town either. Since Julian is my favorite smug, I have him in my second town currently so I can move him over once my new town is ready. This is where Marshal comes in, I villager reset for ones I'd like to have in my town, and since there's always a reset for smug, I DON'T want to take another Julian since I already have him. So I plan to plot for Marshal.

Either way, I think both villagers are really cute but I can't decide on who I'd like to have D:

Oh gosh this is harsh choice for me, I love both, but in the end I voted for Beau. Marshal is adorable, but it's tough to beat a lazy villager like Beau, their dialogue is great, imo.

Only reason I'd ever be happy to get Marshal is to sell him for a ton of bells and thats obv is he is a random move in or in my campsite. I ain't paying squat for that overrated squirrel.

Beau on the other hand is a real adorable lil thing and I would happily hand over some Bells for him although he is overrated too but I prefer him over Marshal.
