but for some reason it seems to be lower in the VTP.
like, 100 tbt= 10mil
50 tbt= 5 mil.

No you're quite right actually! I just looked at the villager popularity list for reference and 100tbt is about 10mil

haha of course!

the seller has every right to use the rates that are being used in the tbt marketplace (like 100 tbt=20mil), i think it's just quicker/more convenient to use 100 tbt=10mil for villagers.
